I'm playing this after enjoying the first game. After playing through the backstory and intros for all the characters I've decided to make my full playthrough as the Yellow Mage.
Any tips regarding newbie traps or look out for things being different than the first game that I may be expecting? The Yellow Mage is fine for a first playthrough right?

i think it's a lot more forgiving than the first game, just know that time progresses every time you sleep and events are tied to certain times and days, consider using ritual circles and the saving book instead of sleeping if you know there's something out there to do
