its neither nioh nor final fantasyits made by the nioh devs, but it has literally none of the sauce that makes nioh good or fun, you start the game with 3 permanent companions, and weapons only have at most 3 or 4 attacks with no stances. there are "abilities" but those are just finishers for comboseverything does the same thing, all finishers shit out damage and stagger, getting a stagger on an enemy instant kills them and makes them explode (which staggers all nearby enemies, and enemies that get staggered from it are automatically instant killed with their own explosions)i have 400 hours in nioh 2 and 200 hours in nioh 3i unironically have more hours and done more full playthroughs of final fantasy 15 than i have of SoP

>>744711956i mostly agree, except there is both a finisher skill and a skill you can use outside of combos, and some classes have interesting abilities like being able to aim a gun with different ammo types or using a hook to grab enemies etc. but it still wasn't enough and the combat really didn't feel engaging at all. too much focus on finishers.the story felt like a fever dream, the presentation and structure of it was like a badly translated early ps2 era jrpg and jack reacting to it with the "bullshit!" was probably the most realistic reaction in this game
