How can people accept 90% of Unreal Engine games having the same look
People accept that corporations and governments are gaping their asshole every day in every aspect of their life, so i'm not surprsied

Many people can only judge graphical fidelity, not actual artistic value. I have some friends who have firm belief that everything art related is made up and isn't real, and people who discuss things in that manner are merely pretending. Yes, not kidding. Yes, that guy is a codemonkey. And his favorite genre is puzzle games. You get the picture.That's why there are people who like AI visuals too.

Huh. I wanted to make a very similar thread when I woke up this morning and saw another spiritual successor for a game I'm looking for was using UE5.I truly believe Unreal will cause a market depression for games. All the devs use the default templates for character controllers, lighting and store bought assets on top of all following the same tutorials and game design courses.
They just don't care, people that don't have attachment to gaming and only treat it as pass time or distraction will accept anything as long as it's not directly being stripped away from core elements as they play it.
