The negavity was overrated, because the gameplay is so fun.However, the main story and side quests are boring and I do them but skip through. It's also shock full of niggers and women. I think the past 5 sidequests I've been doing have been given by women. It's also cringe that the "old wise man"-archetype or "barbarian chief"-archetype are replaced by women. It doesn't have the same oomph when a woman character tries to be a big strong barbarian.I also burst out laughing by the cringy dialogue between Neyrelle and her revived mother it was supposed to be very emotional but fell flat. Donan and his son was the complete opposite and the acting was top notch.

The only time the game goes out of its way to present some kind of progressive idea is when Akara says to you if you're playing sorceress "in my opinion, the world needs more women to fight against evil" or something like that, which makes sense in game because it is a sisterhood.

The Rogue (white female BTW) became Blood Raven you slay in the 2nd mission of act 1.
