If you played Dark Souls 2 using KB/M did you know about the disable double clicking glitch?(before reading this post)When you click to do any action with the disable double clicking option disabled there's a ~200ms delay(game waits for a double click) which is lethal if you use those buttons to attack or roll, you can remove the delay by turning on the setting. What isn't commonly known is that the delay comes back if you restart the game with the setting enabled, every time you launch the game you have to turn it off and on again to fix it or just unknowingly play the game with a handicap(or using the keyboard to attack).

>>744727969peak souls
>>744727969I'I just mapped the attacks to keyboard keys and then assigned the keyboard keys to my mouse buttons. It's that simple.
>>744727969I'd never play one of these games with mouse and keyboard if I can avoid it, but that's cool to know. Thanks OP.
>>744728147you were probably 5 years old when it came out.
>>744727969People used an autohotkey script to bind mouse to keys to avoid that
>>744730150that still adds latency regardless of what program you used
>>744734442it's faulty but fixable, you don't need scripts
>>744734483No it doesn't, the delay only applies to mouse buttons, keyboard has no latency.
Back when DaS2 PC was first released running the game at 60fps made your weapon durability fall twice as fast
>>744734637read my first post... each time you start the game you go in that menu and turn off and back on that setting, and it's fixed, mouse won't have the delay, you don't need scripts
>>744736413I chose the keyboard routeWhat scripts? I use a button remapper with a comfy GUI.
