What’s the /v/irgin turnout for Club Chaos gonna look like? Are you going to be slamming chili dogs in Brooklyn? Can Sonic even run fast enough to escape the average homeless man there?
the majority of /v/ doesn't go out.I went to one of the emerald crash sites and took a pic with Sonic, it was awesome.
>>744740480Yooo. Lucky-ass. I felt lucky to even get a date in my city announced on the second wave of the 35th Anniversary tour. What was it like meeting Sonic?
>>744740727It was awesome, felt like something that was a long time coming, I made sure to get there super early to be one of the first in line to meet him... (He ran twenty minutes late)I got to meet Tails too.Got a free shirt and pin.
Club chaos? In brooklyn? Whats that about?
>>744741174That’s awesome. Sad to think they’re never going to bring Starline or his kiddies out to one of those popups, if only to avoid me trying to make out with him in public. I mentioned it in the OP, but one of the things I’m really excited about if I ever get out to one of these huge curated Sonic events is getting to try the craft food. Back in my day, fairs and some rec places like the local roller rink had special food that was prepared and served a certain way to make it look really fun, like ice cream layered beautifully in a plastic alien bottle and stuff like that. I can only imagine that a chili dog from an official Sonic event would taste like literal heaven.
>>744742171It's definitely worth paying attention to your surroundings, you never know what kind of stuff's heading to your hometown.
>>744742075There’s a big Sonic live concert event in Brooklyn this fall that’s currently being hyped up with an ARG where one of the Chaos Emeralds will randomly crash in a given suburb of the United States and players can go visit it, with ticket sales opening later this month. There’s going to be music there (Thundercat, assorted chip DJs), an official Crossroads tournament, and all sorts of gamer-gunk to stuff your craw with.
>>744742470I mean, I opted into the SMS component of the ARG and entered into the sweepstakes and everything, but I genuinely did not expect there to be an Emerald in my area. Aren’t we on Emerald five out of the planned seven? I’ll go there if it shows up, but it’s probably not gonna happen.
>>744742874they don't notify you about anything through texts, you gotta pay attention to social media.
>>744742979>LA>Chicago>Venice???Still a chance, I guess…
