The thing the players will mostly be focused on, aside from exploring and fighting, is managing and selling equipment, which is why it's so baffling why the UI is so shit and needs SkyUI to be playable on PC.
Also, which follower is your favourite and why?

Bethesda became consolized after Oblivion sold so well on the 360

Derkeethus. To Oblivion and back, as they say.

>managing and selling equipment
?

I just get a couple outfits, a bow and sword and that's all I ever use.

So you don't upgrade your gear? You don't enchant/disenchant it? You don't sell all the junk you got, needing to go to three different merchants because they don't have enough gold?
>>
>>744743186
No, I get money by doing menial jobs and looting only a few precious things
>>
>>744741874
Not sure if she's my favorite, but Mjoll is nice on my survival/legendary run. She can't die and can marry you as a source of food and gold. I think she's the only immortal follower you can marry besides the huntress woman.

>>744743290
Well clearly you're playing the game wrong.
Just kidding, I'm just a loot goblin, but I think many people are.
>>
>>744743442
Yeah I'm having Uthgerd as my follower but want to unlock Mjoll since she has better stats and supposedly better character too.
Did you know followers have stats and level caps?

The UI is mind boggling shit on pc but clearly the 360 was their focus. Best wives are Jenessa and Breylna(barring her old lady haircut) are the best base game wives. Too bad theres no lady lizard companions on the base game.

Try playing as a non psycho who leaves dead people's armor and clothing alone

It's my first run, so maybe good idea for like 10th

>It's my first run,
that explains your skewed perception of the game.
For us, Skyrim is just a sim by now, having played it since 2011. Hence not bothering with "being good at the game" and mix maxing stuff

I do this, you don't need every single item an enemy is carrying. that 15 gold and silver ring is enough

>he plays Skyrim without giving himself infinite inventory space
lol.
>>
>>744748073
I try to stick to above 10 value/weight
>>
the defining characteristic for loot in fallout/elder scrolls games is the ability to fully strip a corpse of everything it had
>does that guy have a cool hat? you can kill him and take it, no NPC only outfits
>does he have a cool gun or sword? you'll have to fight against it if you want to get it.

they just made the stupid decision of making every menial item have a value worth grabbing, because an orcish warhammer weighs 30 lbs but sells for 250 gold, so now i have to juggle around 15 different retarded heavy items instead of having good inventory management. having a "junk tab" that you can loot items directly to would help but it doesnt alleviate the carry weight issue, just makes sorting less aids
i've also always complained that the alchemy system produces way too much garbage. i can appreciate being able to make virtually any kind of potion and a lot of them have multiple effects/high cost for selling/etc, but i really dont need 9 different stacks of potions that do the same thing from one session of alchemy
can they not just make like 3 "tiers" of potion so that you dont end up with 8 stacks of "+21% destruction" "+22% destruction" "+23% destruction" etc
>>
>>744748239
Shit man, i get to the point where i don't even pick up basic high tier armor i find in chests like dragonscale anymore unless it's enchanted and that's just to hock it. I stick to basic bitch steel armor and temper it to cap
>>
>>744748710
>that's just to hock it
in English, doc!
>basic bitch steel armor and temper
desu I'm around lvl30 and wearing legendary orc armor and it feels overpowered
>>
>>744744150
I do this and totally ignore lockpicking, and it's not for rp reasons since skyrim isn't good for that, but to make the experience more seamless
