The latest update was interesting at first but the enemies become massive damage sponges on higher difficulties and it takes too long to kill them, to the point where you're just wasting hours of your life on repetitively mashing the buttons because your character's actual kits become irrelevant after a while; most of the damage comes from the equipment passives. Also, introducing more currency sponge event vehicles just after doing it the previous patch feels like bad optics. I guess if you don't care about the vehicles or skins it's not that big a deal though.I actually do enjoy the factory gameplay, as well as how it does feed into the main game. One reason I can't entirely get into this style of game is that while I find it enjoyable at first, eventually it becomes overwhelmed by the reality that you're just building a factory for the sake of building a factory.

I actually really liked Arknights setting and the grittiness of it. When I played Endfield up to the utopian-eqsque China location I didn't get any of that, the story felt like a Saturday morning cartoon. Speaking of 1.4So I know they had to get to the VLR and close it regardless, but they act like they're going to redevelop the destroyed area.How? It's not just obliterated like the Power Plateau was, where the guy saying 5 years was reasonable with the tech they had and the existing usable infrastructure. The place is utterly and completely fucked. Buildings are now deep underground on the edge of underground bottomless pits. The whole area is a series of rock pillars with flakes of destroyed shit sitting on top. The entire foundational layer of the rock has been shifted and collapsed so thoroughly that even under crumbling buildings, there's random pits and voids. I could understand if it was just the blight tendrils to clear out but the whole area is basically a series of volatile sinkholes now. Short of clearing the whole area in a giant bowl shape and refilling the thing, it's unusable.
