I had this constantly with my 7900 XTX and it was because it couldn't handle the stock OC. Had to get it exchanged. New one is fine though.

If OPs PC abruptly shut down before this, then it could an insufficient PSU. I had a friend who bought an HP prebuilt like 5 years ago and it would shut down while he was playing Cyberpunk or other demanding games. The proprietary PSU was rated for 400w, while Nvidia recommends 500w for the 3060. We installed an auxillary PSU, but it would still shut down.
