Consensus is he's shit because he doesn't have a "pause the game" defensive ult. People claim that the huge numbers he puts out are fraudulent and that he's going to be less valuable than a healer that does less damage, less blocking, less healing, and less killing because that healer can clutch out a fight by just full-healing everybody and stalling the enemy, even if he ults more often. But people that are playing Healpool because they have to heal will be the worst possible healer you could get.I also think that Deadpool got fucked by the team-up update in general because his team-ups fucking suck. The Gambit jump is probably THE worst one in the game, even when Enhanced, and the Hela team-up is fantastic but only comes online at the very end of the game and is totally useless until then (just exacerbating Deadpool's issue of being gimped until he becomes OP, thus relying on his team to be able to make it a long game). So you're using a shitty team-up ability for 75% of the game, dying, swapping to Hela, and getting some value out of it, meanwhile C&D got two really strong team-ups, Mantis is GOATed, Rocket got the Groot team-up, etc.
