Seems impossibly difficult if you're solo with how much everything weighs plus the cold nights which are outright unfair in solo.

Why was Mesa nerfed? Its difficulty balance was fine other than tornado having a hard-on for you at times at the speed it moved.

protip don't give a pendant to one player each, instead just give all to one player.mathematically you are on the safer side, since you need all four for ascent 8.If we look at a regular 4 player lobby and you share the pendants evenly the chance of an unsalvageable death leading to a fail state is 100%. Instead if you just let one player hold all, it drops down to 25&.

>>745206226I don't think you're missing anything about Gloom, it's very unforgiving if you don't have a candlestick or horizontal traversal tools and you'd better not run out of food. I don't know if it's the seed or the biome's design but the final stretch is just a stamina check. You either make it through or you don't, it's a pain on Ascent 8, maybe more painful in multiplayer with resources being spread out.
