Final Fantasy X-2 is better than Final Fantasy X. Mission-based gameplay compliments the linear area design and the battle system is much more fun and engaging with active job class switching. FFX's only real strength is in its narrative, but X-2's plot being more fun and poppy wasn't a bad thing. The best overall Final Fantasy games are III, V, IX, X-2, and XII: Zodiac Edition.
