For my first playthrough, I was going for a low kill run, which might have been a bad idea in hindsight. I made it to Paris and was at the part where you had to meet a guy in the subway. I broke Denton's legs and the guy would not spawn.

Annoy the citizens, knock guards out and put them in compromising positions or drag them into the vents and stack them so they can't get out when they wake up, imagine their supervisor showing up to see them missing but their guns there or see them passed out in sexual positions. I dunno. That's how I enjoyed it personally. I avoided ever using the gun or loud shit outside of bosses.
