Ragnarok was the only one I enjoyed, but I did play Maple Story (8 years too late) and Lost Ark for about 300 hours when it first came to the West. Ragnarok had all the bad KMMO qualities but I felt like you could ignore it to a degree. I was fine just solo-levelling characters, selling trinkets I found that I couldn't use and every once in a while trying to upgrade equipment past +7 and crying when it failed

You could log in everyday and do a few quest and get some power orbs, do an event then go do other things.Eventually I maxed out all six places...but I wasn't high enough level to do the next place and start its daily grind.Which means I would have to sit there on a map and train and actually play the game.Nah.Also I played a Kanna and they nerfed Kanna at this time so I was mad.
I'm ""playing"" tera on a pserver mostly for dressup purposes and i have a character on the console version but i think i might be too casual for this game, the grind is way too autistic. Game gives weird vibes post pc version death.
I used to be obsessed with DFO's pvp when I was like 13 and thought it was a true competitive game. Looking back on it now though, it was mainly just waiting for your overpowered superarmor/cube skills to be off cooldown then ignorantly launching yourself at your opponent. Still fun, but pretty mindless.
