I play both Storm and Johnny and am loud about both.
With Storm it's weird stuff beyond skins. Like in the story all the xmen go to save Cyclops except for Storm, instead Sai is there who isn't even part of their team and doesn't know those people.
On the new map there's the mural of xmen fighting Apocalypse but it's is Jean, Cyclops, Wolverine, and Magik instead of Storm.
Stuff like that paired with the skin situation makes people who are fans of the character go kinda crazy.

I don't know what's been happening recently, but I feel like in QP, when the map is payload, the attacking team loses most of the time. For healers you can either live by just the healtpacks or jump behind the tank whenever you need a fix. Weak response but it made me think in the original comics in he 70s Storm wasn't supposed to have average black woman features, she was like a mix of various ethnicities and had crazy cat eyes too.

That has never been the case once. Whoever told you that was lying to you. This is her backstory, given in 1976, only a year after her debut. She's black, fullstop. Her white hair and eyes are due to her mother coming from a line of magic users.

This doesn't matter. You're not in enough of a rush during set-up for the time saved to mean anything, and in the rare situations you are in a rush, it's usually an urgent situation you'd rather have your stun prepped than extra set-up. The faster web placements don't enable any new playstyles or meaningfully buff her current ones, it's worthless.

And the amount of viable targets for stuns has gone down. You get the most value chain-stunning a Thing or Rogue or another frontlining tank, but your counter-dive viability goes way down. Stunning a Spider-Man, BP, Black Cat, or even Iron Fist through all their movement and defense is much harder since you have to do it twice while they're killing your backline. Diving is more dangerous because while you can lock down your target better, your ability to cover your escape with a stun is severely weakened if you DO try locking down your target. And the enemy who's getting chain-CC'd still feels all of the frustration they felt pre-patch and more, so this change doesn't even address that.

Less targets to stun reliably, less ults to cancel reliably, more effort for the same result, greater punishment for missing a web, I could go on. I'm not at all saying she's gutted or anything, but to say the new right-click is better for Peni than the previous one or actually a buff is demonstrably false, and I'm not even sure it's better for the game in general.

She is black and her origin was always African but her appearance was, according to creator Dave Cockrum, not specifically one ethnicity, even in that image she has a more Asian eye shape and the blue cat eye thing, she's more racially ambiguous and exotic looking than her parents. Comics like here in X-men 253 show she is not visibly a normal black woman and her facial features don't fit normal classification, she was originally ultra exotic to fit the goddess thing basically. This all faded away over the years

I fuckin knew it was going to be this out of context page. The context is NOT "she's some kind of of impossible racial mix!", the context is the X-Men had their identities erased from public knowledge even to the point of equipment not being able to see them in this storyline and he's just trying to work out who she is. Again, the white hair and blue eyes he specifically notes come from her mother being from a line of sorcerers, not from any racial mix, she was born with those to two black parents, an African woman from Kenya and an African American man. People keep presenting this page in a completely misleading manner.

I don't see how it's misleading, she has features that don't match a typical Kenyan/African woman, even ignoring the cat eye pupils and hair. She visible doesn't have African woman features in most depictions, as was her original creators intent.
