>>745224727It needed actual dungeons and lots of them. The fake modern tokyo that's just a front for the real blasted desert tokyo is a stupid idea for a setting too. Unfortunately it's just a good game not a great one like every previous mainline smt.
I played Vengeance on the default path on hard mode and it's extremely enjoyable. Dungeon crawling has been replaced with exploration and the game is really well balanced and forces you to get a more powerful party through fusion and finding new things, rather than grinding.
