Safe to say Sony beat the physical game people. The backlash has slowed down, people are still buying games digital. How do they keep winning?

Hot take: doing away with physical games does not affect 99% of consumers. In fact I would argue it does not affect anyone other than collectors (who can still collect the games anyway, just without the media). Digital is superior in every conceivable way except the ability to borrow games, which Nintendo masterfully implemented in the Switch 2.
