>>745232072Questionable upgrade sequence you basically have to go through the bosses and upgrades specifically in no other way (if you compare, X1 needs the legs and at most arm or helmet in some places. The issue being more the hearts. In X3 we the addition of Ride Armors and the like you will need boss weapons to open paths to then unlock Ride Armors or Armor Parts and follow suit each one unlocking the next. While on paper this is cool, those things aren't ''versatile'' with one upgrade being the path to specifically the next one and none else), tanky enemies across the game with sadistic spawn spots usually outside the view, questionable boss and hazard designs (final Sigma's only weakpoint is a tiny head with him taking most of the screen and moving by floating back and forth, then you need to climb walls with lava below and instant kill ledges above AFTER that, but due to this stupid decision, it's actually easier to just tank the lava's damage as the screen rises than risk your life with a ledge crushing you to death)And so on. If you are trying and failing, wanting to explore around ugprades it's one of the better X games due to the amount it has, but outside that not much I can say well about it.
