Got a Switch 2 last week. Replaying Odyssey for the first time since it came out, forgot how good it is. It might also just be my mind playing tricks on me, but the game seems to look a lot better than it did on the original.
I got MKW with the bundle and I've been enjoying that, but I kind of wish I chose Pokopia instead.

Finished basically everything in Lies of P, both the main game and expansion. Really wished they hadn't nerfed a lot of the bosses into the dirt but you can still rematch the harder versions after the campaign so 9.5/10 game. It was my first time through the expansion and so many of the weapons are dope as fuck.
I think this week will be the Duskbloods weekend, then next maybe Elden Ring if it runs somewhat reasonably. I'm expecting the tiny little Switch 2 to start chugging at Astel or snake guy in Volcano Manor.

It’s my favorite Nintendo game of 2026 so far. It took me around 25 hours to get the credits to roll but I did absolutely everything you could do before fighting the final boss. There is a lot of post-game content too.

The bright side is that I haven't crashed yet, which is better than what I've heard about the PS5 and Xbox ports. As someone who bought it on 3DS and then Switch, here is my greatest and most genuine advice.
Start building a long, long playlist of background noise. Video essays and such, stuff you don't need to actively watch, just listen to.
Audiobooks are good too.
Because the story mode is maybe 5% of the game, and that's probably an overstatement.
Once you start Adventure Mode, the music will get old very fast. And you don't need any audio cues, not after a round or two of Story Mode.
It gets almost meditative, the way your mind turns to static while you cut down thousands of enemies like blades of grass.

My release date Switch 2 just suddenly died several weeks ago while I was playing Xeno2 in handheld mode. I went to repair, but they just told me it was some kind of factory defect and it self-fried something inside lol. Got a used copy of prime 4 basically for free with some other games I bought, so I figured I'd give it a shot and see if it's as bad as people were saying. Am I missing something? Yeah, it has flaws, and yeah, it underdelivered, but people were saying that this is "nintendo's concord" and "worse than other m!". Have any of your retards even played other m? Clearly not. It's genuinely about on par with prime 3 (which itself is overrated, but that's a different topic).

Not him but Lies of P was a pretty solid 60 docked on performance mode, and didn't look bad at all. Handheld on performance WAS a little blurry, but there's a balanced option that looked sharp enough and still ran at a smooth, albeit lower, 30 (or 40?) frames per second.

I haven't bought a switch 2, mostly because I feel like the game prices are just insane for what you're getting. I usually play games once and then never again, and my switch 1 library is just gathering dust at this point.
I was thinking of maybe getting a Switch 2 and a rental service like gamefly so I could just play games for a short bit while not paying $70 for them. Would this be a worthwhile way to play?

Its better than Prime 3, and is a good game. Other M is also good and it's just fags crying that they weren't ready for a hybrid side scroller/3D Metroid. Prime 4 has more in common the 2D games because of the linear levels and smooth backtracking levels. Nintendo fans online cannot get through a week without someone crying about a new Nintendo game.

FFXIV and Xenoblade Chronicles X w/ the upgrade patch. First time playing through both, FFXIV seems fun but the controls are taking some use getting to. Only just started X and it also seems like it'll be fantastic.

getting minerals is a small part of the game now. Most of it now is quests and building and managing a trade/explorers/mercenaries industry. And for mining, you have automated extractors anyway

you collect crashed ships and sell them for instant millions, then you do whatever you want.

Just to give an idea, you can bring 3 gadgets with you to missions. The third one can either belong to the same tank type or one other specific tank type which changes depending on the tank. Speed gets access to one tactic gadget, Tactic gets one Power Gadget and Power gets one Speed gadget. You also get one tank relic from those tank types I mentioned.
