Fuck the newcomers and fairweather fans who started flooding into the Nintendo ecosystem in 2018. In 2017 actual Nintendo fans pushed back on paid online hard enough to get Nintendo to think twice about that shit, but when they planned to roll it out again in 2018 the dominant fanbase message became "just pay for it and give it a chance before you criticize it" and "it's okay for Nintendo to do it since the other guys did it first" because so many of these miserable fucks were used to and okay with paid online on Xbox/Playstation.

Apex Legends, Fortnite, Overwatch 2 are all on switch 2 , i tried them all and had no issues, this is absolutely from softwares fault, they always have shitty netcode and lag during online play, delayed attacks, hit registration/damage, garbage coop mechanics that almost never work and still have issues, broken easily abused spells, backstabbing, the list goes on
