The ideal Avatar game would be one that models Aang's journey, but from the perspective of the player. I would say this world is HIGHLY compatible with an open-world RPG in which the player creates their own Avatar and lives through their life. They have to learn all four of the skills, and as they develop could specialize in various areas. Meanwhile they can earn prestige in various locales at dojos, or try to live life as a meager peasant selling cabbages or some shit. This would be the absolute best fit imo, but it wouldn't be capably done by basically any company, so a more realistic success would be something far more grounded like an action-adventure platformer in which the bending schools offer various movement abilities which can be upgraded by finding collectibles and reaching hidden zones. The biggest issue with a game based on ATLA is that it's owned by a company that doesn't want to spend the movie to make a great video game. I mean they got Platinum during their peak for god's sake, and the game looked like it was made in unity over a long weekend. Then there was some flash shovelware then nothing. And now you can look at the pretty much unfinished fighting game which again they hired a good dev team but didn't give them the budget necessary. They clearly care enough about the animated works to give them high enough budgets to work with but for the video game they tell the devs to go eat a dick. Aside from that, the franchise's peak was over 20 years ago now, little late to try and rake in on the series' hype.
