He's only making those determined eyebrows that cover part of his eyeballs in the right pic when he's angry or being heroic or battling something. He is making those eyebrows in this scene when he says the stupid Door to Darkness line and then stops making them after he shushes everybody and shuts the door and they all hug him and shit. The designers didn't just dress Mickey like that thinking he would look badass from their perspective, they altered Mickey's face to look like he genuinely thought he was being a badass in that moment.
