I got into the game, made a character and actually got into the world just fine. Didn't have any noticeable latency issues as an NA player but the quest that you get to kill 5 of each of those enemies seems to either be bugged or you literally have to be the one to aggro the enemy first so the kill counts as yours even though you've hit it enough while it has a good amount of health. They also seem to hit really hard.
