>>745923114That is a hard question to answer because Ys has changed a fucking LOT over the years, like Ys 1&2 from the 80s are a different beast from 00s era isometric Ys, which is a still different beast from 10s era party system Ys. I don't even grasp what the series was going for in the 90s. The 2010s stuff is probably the most familiar for general JRPG fans to approach and of that lot VIII has become a sort of fan favorite, but the isometric games like Oath in Felghana and Origin are probably the most consistently celebrated. I haven't played Nordics personally but it looks like a sort of revamp of the 10s stuff.

Everything is based on the numbers you get from the gacha, so it's either braindead so you can do it with whatever trash you get, or unattainable because it's designed around having the specific stuff the gacha wants you to have.
