I've had a few female friends that do the whole medieval larping thing or whatever and they just say they get armor with a little extra chest space to have room for their boobs but it just looks like bulkier armor from the photos I've seen rather than anime boobplate stuff. Realistically the only situation in which women would realistically be out in combat regularly would be one in which the fundamental realities of the world were different. If there was some kind of magic system, some kind of leveling system, or they were some kind of non-human race. Historically almost no group would risk their women in battle (one man can remake a tribe, but he needs 100 women to do it) unless it was a crisis situation, so something would have to fundamentally change.In which case either your armor has to be consistent with that world (maybe women are spellcasters or something, or have some special skill only they can do, in which case they would just have traditional armor with a bit of a boob plate). Or the world is so balls to the walls that arrows just bounce off them or something, in which case just looking coolest is best, so bikini armor wins.
