Kills give gold and objectives like roshan, torm, towers etc give gold to everyone on the team.
Because minions can be denied, supports need to hit whatever minions cores cant reach.

The jungle exists but they arnt an objective and valve killed the ability to early jungle (jungler doesnt exist in dota)
So supports will "stack" the camps (make them respawn new camps on top of the old) so cores get more gold when they start to farm jungle.

This is so baked in as a mechanic that valve made it so stacking gives free gold to the support IF they team kills the camp.

It was an unholy place where learning was impossible because I seriously think nobody actually knew how any matchups worked despite being able to repeat ad nauseum every bit of information they hear from their streamer. By the time I decided to quit I felt like I knew nothing about DotA because it felt like nothing I knew was ever viewed as correct and everyone else's advice was immediately refuted by someone else. Nobody in the game shared two ideas except whatever the fucking streamers had to say and none of it was actually practical because people could only tell you when you fucked up but not help you avoid fucking up. It was like having three bosses tell you three different things but couldn't tell you how to do it right before you had to do it.

My main concern is still tho how the fuck did Mirana KNOW where the enemy team is? Like.... he straight up simply jumped into them KNOWING where they are standing

this is fucking bullshit, like he sarcrificed himself as suicide during TI absolutely insane move
