Heard FF7 rebirth is bloated to hell with ubislop mini games. Was going to buy this due to goon baits but having second thoughts because of shit gameplay. Anons, is it true the game is just padding?

>>745955129It's definitely padding and the overarching plot is a slow burn but none of the minigames are bad. Whether or not you consider it bloated depends on your taste. With a couple exceptions they're all better than what Remake had with both Chocobo Racing and Queen's Blood being pretty fully fleshed out. I've got a lot more grievance with the combat system in the Remake trilogy than I do with the minigames in Rebirth.
the mini games are fleshed out and none of them feel tacked on. they actually put work into them. at worst they can feel like a chore at times but I kept playing because the game is so good. the combat is the best out of any action rpg ever made. queens blood is also addicting as hell
