>>745959595I really couldn't finish it, I beat the red dude on the cover whose name I can't even remember and just had no desire to continue. Elden Rings rollslop combat, boss and enemy design is just exhausting and boring and feels like the souls formula finally stretched to its breaking point, and the setting/story of elden ring also feels like a completely uninteresting mashup of themes theyve already done multiple times before. If they make another soulslike I have no interest unless it adds crazy movement, air combat and more diverse play styles like the characters in the duskbloods or some other actual gameplay innovation.Old Hunters is still their best DLC and some of their best work as a whole.

>>745960453Both of those areas are great and unique in atmosphere and level design, I'm not sure why you left out the hunters nightmare which is the actual subpar area made of reused assets. DaS2 only has the best DLC if you mean in relation to the terrible base game, the dlcs have good level design and better bosses than the base game (lowest best possible) but constantly reuse dull uninspired enemies throughout all 3 and the bosses are still shit tier.Surely we can all agree that DaS3 has the worst DLC thoughbeit, both of them are atrocious.

>>745959595Yes and it's by far the best and most complete fromsoft experience, even better than bloodtroons or bloodborne TRANNIES as I like to call them.introduced very fun and interesting weapons in the game, to the point they invalidate the base game stuff. Truly, the point of the DLC is to rush to complete it and then start NG+ with the new weapons and spells you gained, and do the DLC properly knowing how to do the NPC quests. Story is also the best, the world building can't be beat, I like how Marika's backstory and origin of her godhood was elaborated, I think Messmer did nothing wrong.in short 10/10

I really enjoyed Elden Ring and the DLC had some great level design and atmosphere. I think Shadow has a better feeling of world and exploration than anything in the base game after the Capital.I also really REALLY like Artorias and the lore surrounding him so the DaS DLC is up there too. I haven't played the DaS3 DLC but I've heard it's good.

The idea that "DaS2 is saved by the DLC" is bullshit overall, the other two expansions are weaker than the base game, but Ivory King is particular is really damn cool and pulls off what I'd expect gameplay wise from a bonus level.
