Anime is fucking boring and it’s dying with Gen Alpha (finally)

Despite how sloppy, unimpressive and soulless the leaked GTA VI footage ended up being especially for the sequel of a 13 years old game, the few snippets of gameplay shown still had more interactivity and "weight" to them than anything in Ananta. It's a shame, cuz in concept "GTA but anime" should've been amazing but this piece of shit slop is limited by its gacha-tier design permeating every aspect of the game. The gameplay videos spoke for themselves. You couldn't truly harm NPCs, driving and hitting other cars barely made any reactions etc. Even derivatives like saints row, mafia or sleeping dogs way back then understood how important it was to make players feel part of the world in free roam. I was the first to shill this game based on the trailer and didn't mind the "plagiarism" but the gameplay deflated all hype I could've had. I'll wait until a real, Japanese or otherwise Asian non-gacha game studio tries to tackle the "crime city open world formula but anime" and actually does it right.
