Gaming peaked here. We didn't know how good we had.
This is the first time I'm thinking about this game in over 20 years
>>745964093How about this?
>>745964313don't think I played this one
>>745963510This is genuine ludokino
>>745963510why do so many games feature gold and silver when it's literally just worthless metal
>>745964534Why do pretend to be retarded so people give you (You)s when they're just 0s and 1s?
>>745964534The rest of humanity begs to differ
>>745964534gosh i couldn't possibly imagine why
>>745963510yes yes well done, however
>>745964737came in to post thisnever got to the end as a kid because I would always run out of gas and have to start overnow that I'm an adult maybe I could play this again.... Is there anywhere you can play this flash game
>>745965016swfchan has nearly every flash ever made
>>745963510>we didn't know how good we had itWe absolutely did know how good we had it. We saw the rapid decline too. Only mid-late zoomers or younger didn't know because they didn't experience it.
>>745963510>>745964737Cute posts, but the king of browser-based mining-themed time wasters was always pic related

>>745963510Even though I liked many of these, I kind of hate how Flash games brainwashed people into this idea of having an endless supply of free, shitty, disposable, quantity-over-quality gaming and that it's fine as long all it takes to play is to watch an ad. Casual games have been tainted, mobile games are fucked beyond repair, and wherever you look there are piles of moderately successful cheap dogshit that wouldn't be able to make a single sale just a couple decades ago because people got so used to eating pigslop these days.
>>745963510Mum and dad loved this shit, they played it every day for literally years.
>this was peak coomer art in the early 2000s
>>745966023>brainwashedmany people refined their game and put it up to sale with success. Flash games were made for prototyping, you knew you were making it for free. Just like modding, you did it for the experience and building a portfolio. Everyone now thinks their Flappy Bird clone should make them millions.
>>745966215i remember a whackamole flash game where some slut is sitting down and hitting crabs (i think?) on a beach with a hammer and if you win she gets fucked doggystyle and now that i think about it that's probably the origin story of why i have always preferred that position

>>745966023Barely any game was like that. The "ads" were like "visit our site". Most flash games were hobby projects like geocities websites. But it basically killed the last remaining will to play old Atari games.>>745966215Peak coomer art was the parodies with Charlie.
>>745967748FUGI was looking for the name of this game for years
>>745964737For me, it's Glean
Based series. 3 was my favorite
>>745964534>silver when it's literally just worthless metalretard
>>745967905There were ads, though. Maybe you used an adblock and just never seen them. You think the sites and devs were running a charity? Especially in developing countries some devs could earn a little bonus, like Toge who pretty much built Indonesian vidya industry singlehandedly by starting in Flash games.Anyway past 2007-ish there were loads of games coming out each week, too many to finish them all, just a constant stream of new stuff to play. People were spoiled by this abundance of games good and bad, their perception of quality and prices got fucked, and they also got used to seeing ads in every app as long as they get to use them for free.
>>745970487if ads existed in your flash games it was very likely from the website preloading them before the game rather than baked into the swf. i can only think of a few flash games with external ads and they were all trash.
>>745963510>in the final days of Flash, get nostalgic and look at a flash games site>try out a bunch of 'newer' games (past 5+ years)>they're FILLED to the fucking brim with microtransactions and DLCIt was sad to see that even Flash games went from being passion projects made for fun to soulless money farm products. At least there's about two decades of soulful, innocently shit flash games out there still (rather than soulless, evilly shit).
>>745970487Random "online game" flash sites had ads not the flashes themselves. Also, site ads were like "not in the way", unlike now, where you can't even visit 1 site without some pop up and 30sec humiliation ritual. I'm not even sure if adblockers were a thing back then because I didn't use them back then. Also those online game sites just copy pasted the games from each other. It was rare when a site specifically had a team just for making games. And yes flash games were 90% charity.
>>745963510my class had a fag who pressed spacebar to throw a stick of dynamite while you were reeling in a giga nugget
>>745964613because it works, retard
>>745967748Holy fuck ive been looking for this game for like 10 fucking years I love you
