Am I caring too much about the story in video games? I'm enjoying the gameplay for most of the games but I just can't push through and actually finish them because most of the times the story and characters are just so one-dimensional and boring. Recent examples for me are Dying Light The Beast, Donkey Kong Bananza, Zelda ToTK, Stellar Blade, Spiderman Miles Morales. Story games I've enjoyed are Bioshock games, TLOU games, Uncharted games, just a few examples.

The story in this game is straight ps3 era stupid nonsense. It even reads exactly like a script from 2009. Its a god damn delight.
