I have a strange relationship with Katanas. I'm not a huge fan of their design, but their movesets / gameplay tend to be some of the best. I guess it's not all too surprising that Japanese devs especially would dedicate the most time to refining Katana gameplay, but there it is.

Personally I'm a bigger fan of different kinds of curved swords like the Middle Eastern shamshir or Indian tulwars.
