>>745988682"Bad lineup" was a meme. The first party games are all solid. Familiar brands, but way more innovative and unique than the typical AAA game. Realism doesn't impress people anymore, open worlds don't impress people anymore, everything got stale, there's no hype for anything except GTA 6. Dev teams who were preoccupied with social justice are completely demoralized in fear of another Forspoken or the Last of Us 2. And a Switch 2 is convenient for me because I don't have a TV.

The RAMpocalypse has led to the Switch 2 being sold at a loss that wasn't originally planned and the software sales have been so poor they're almost certainly not making up for it. They aren't going strong.
They survive primarily on what they make versus skimming what others make. That's what separates themselves from the rest of their competition.
