Ok ill use this thread to talk about Cold war zombies and not clasic zombies because my god, im so fucking obsessed with it, i got too late into the party and i want to talk to someone about it.

Ok first of all some context

>never liked that much the changes made on ops 3 and 4 and pretty much lost contact with the series after that
FFW This year.
>got an old xbone from my cousin
>he got all of the old cod games up until cold war
>tooki this chance to finally give a fair play to black ops 3 and 4
>didn't hate them but didn't like them either, specially 4

collectively crouching around the max ammo after a dog round to let each other know we're done reloading.

>outbreak mode while kind of monotone at first shit gets real once you reach level 2
My god i love it i haven't had this much fun with the mode since mob of the dead, its almost perfect, except for one thing.....it feels kind of soulles....or lacking, its like its still missing that esoteric charm from early zombies, but outside that its great, trust me anon's if you have the chance give the mode a shot its worth it.....i don't know about ops 6 or 7 im yet to play those.

aniways, did anyone else here tried the cold war zombies or you all also got stuck on black ops 1 and 2?

Apparently you don't even need to reload anymore to get the most out of it, I don't play nuCoD so I dunno if that's actually the case but it sounds lame and gay

yes thats the case since ops 4 it reloads your entire magazine, it compensates by making the zombies more fast and throwing special ones on each round + dogs.

Maybe I'm just being a boomer but newer zombies modes look like an absolute clusterfuck. I liked the simplicity of the old WaW and BO1 zombies.
Shoot zombies, grab perks, play the song for a couple minutes of hype then hop back into multiplayer after 30-40 rounds.
Now it looks like a convoluted mess with a gorillion steps for every easter egg and some gay multiverse shit connecting everything

The easter eggs are actually easier now, the ops 1 and 2 EE easteps were an actual clustefuck (shangry la, getting EMP grenades in tranzit), i don't want to say you are wrong because on high rounds yeah the screen gets covered in points and stuff when you kill a train of zombies but the zombies having an HP dispaly it sounds dumb and useless at first but later on you will see how usefull it is to know if you can make a crawler or just pet him while you do stuff.

You're right about shangri la, forgot that shit even existed since I avoided playing it most of the time. I primarily played on call of the dead and the WaW maps.
