I picked this game up cause I saw it on the Steam store, knowing nothing about it, cause I like zombies. I was shocked to find out years later it was a £100m AAA game. What the fuck. It feels like an MMO with no other players, or an early access tech demo. There are no meaningful quests or activities to do beside drive around identical encampments, buy stuff from static prop NPCs, and collect scraps. The story is completely flat. It's like an indie survival game except without any meaningful crafting or upgrades or base building, just a bike you can upgrade in useless ways. Dying Light was heaps better.
