99% of their media ends with a fuckton of loose ends and unresolved character relationships and often times zero character progression.
Japan's media is heavily dominated by a handful of loud otaku trash who will completely lose their shit if their preferred girl doesn't "win" (AKA get with a different guy then them), so a lot of their media just decide to not have any closure in character relations to avoid controversy.
