>>746010932I quit after 800 hours, there's really just no rewarding content to play after you reach a certain point, a frame takes an hour to farm on launch, you have the 10-20 builds that nuke 30 meters in 1 button or trivialize a niche part of the game, rest of the items just start feeling like collectibles that you're never gonna use, couple new fun activities a year that reward you with useless vendor currency which you already have enough of in the first day of the update to buy all the arcanes or weapons. The visuals and the world are so shitty looking and cheaply put together (I still like plains of eidolon), any remaining fun is just blasting enemies in a survival mission.

I really did love Warframe, I always will in some ways, but man I had to get out. I just kept looping more and more shit for less. Earlier frames are so simple to get and then when I caught up every new update would have me needing to get adopted by another family if I want their robocorpse parts. I got sick of it. The giant bosses, or whatever you'd call them, like the eidolons and orb mothers seemed like a slog I couldn't crack without outright cheese. Steel Path kicked my ass at worst and took forever at best. More and more seemed to require a guide from me. My favorite content creators all bailed. I found myself caring less and less. Last frame I really loved was Wisp, last update I fully gave a shot was the third (?) open world, the Drifter one, or the Angels of Zariman, whichever was later. I've sunk enough hours into the game for a lifetime, it's still top 3 in my steam despite not bothering in years, but I kind of wish it'd finally give me a reason to go back.
