Kinda funny how Dark Souls became the most influential game of the last 2 gens.
Especially when prior to FROMsoft, Miyazaki was working on accounting software.

Miyazaki did work on a number of games with From Soft before the Souls games, though; he also studied social science so he was probably already a creative, thoughtful guy. He did well enough in the company that he was given project lead for Demon's Souls because apparently he is a gigachad. As far as success stories go, his appears to be based on personal merit alone.
