Like, what if you get banned or the servers shut down for whatever reason. You just wasted your hard earned money on pixels you don't even own
>>
you pay for the experience, not the product
same reason people go to the cinema even though they don't own the movie once it's over
>>
>>746012340
People have been conditioned to pay up the ass for shit they really shouldn't need to pay for.
>>746012646
That's a different thing. You're paying for a showing, not a product, unlike in-game bullshit.
>>
>>746013026
no, it's the same thing
digital intangible goods can't be products
>>
>>746013089
So Steam games aren't products? What are they then?
>>
>>746012340
I'm a retard who spent hundreds on cosmetics
Real reason? It makes you feel superior to those F2P plebeians. It's the equivalent to wearing a fancy watch IRL
It's why skins in single player games got mocked out of existence while they remain a massive moneymaker in multiplayer games
>>
>>746013201
It's funny, whenever I see a paypig with a skin I feel massively superior because I wasn't stupid enough to spend hundreds of dollars on pixels.

service
>>
>>746013201
That wouldn't work for me because: 1. The second I lose, that belief is shattered if I get owned by someone I thought I was above, then I'm not above them and they're not the gay little loser I am. So I gotta choose who I look down upon carefully. 2. The day said game or my account dies I will become a free-to-play, and then I'm a loser by my own hypothetical standards. 3. Free-to-play games are shit. I wouldn't be able to stand one long enough to pay up. Can you imagine tolerating that garbage, let alone enjoying it?
>>746013264
That argument in general sounds like an excuse EA would make to be Jewish. Saying something is actually another thing for some legal loophole to exploit shit. So a physical game is a product, but the digital version is a service? That only makes sense if you're trying some jew trick.

Who is this indian goddess?
>>
>>746012340
I think they look good and worrying about if you'll have it in 10 or 20 years is a waste of brain power.
Much like food, you don't need to buy and eat more than what your body needs to function, but I'm sure you enjoy things that taste good to you and don't worry about the price. The price that is increased purely for the experience of eating the tastier food. No matter the cost, you won't have it after you eat it.
>>
>>746013089
Yes they are, corporations just pretend like they're not because it lets them get away with breaking regulations.

glory to India

I like supporting good games

Not that complicated
>>
>>746012340
>why would you buy a shirt if you can't use it forever? it will break down and you will lose it, there's nothing you can do!
really? you can't understand it at all? sounds like you are an even bigger retard than the anons buying e-clothing
>>
>>746014061
There is something you can do jeet, take better care of your stuff.
>>
>>746013721
>>746013937
Both of you are coping hard.
Deep down you know that you're not buying the skins for your own enjoyment or for supporting the game, you're buying it for how other players perceive you.

>>746014061
>t. buys some garbage polyester shirt that disintegrates after being worn 10 times
Proper quality clothing lasts a lifetime
>>
>>746012646
This is a great fucking point why do people pay for the cinema if they don't own the product.

WOW, hot a What baabhabhiat

Helsie, Indian girl

Sometime people do it to fit in, people bully you in some games for not having skins
>>
Because I treat them for what they are, consumables. I never play a live service game thinkg I will replay it in 10 years, as I rarely replay games in the first place. I pay for the experience first and foremost.
>>
>>746014646
>people bully you in some games for not having skins
In what games? Roblox? Fortnite?
I've only ever heard of WoW players bullying people with paid mounts.

>In what games?
the ones where consumer retards gather with other consumer retards to convince themselves that they need to buy skins until they die
>>
>>746012340
This implies things only have value if they last forever. But even psychical media stops working eventually.
>>
>>746014774
who cares if it doesn't happen in your lifetime
>>
>>746014697
>in what games
basically every multiplayer game with cosmetics, of course the reverse does happen where people get bullied for wasting their money also.
>>
>>746014960
For every 1 person bullied for not buying skins there are 9,999 ones that were made fun of for wasting money
>>
>>746012340
codex pajeet 2 is such a great doc. absolutely phenomenal.
>>
you never own anything your bullies made you know this already
>>
>>746012340
>Like, what if you get banned or the servers shut down for whatever reason. You just wasted your hard earned money on pixels you don't even own
When you buy a gym membership and the gym close down you will also lose your membership benefits too. So what? You buy it to use it while you go there, not forever.
