No way around it.Thoun I also got effected by what I now know is called a companion glitch. Charles and javier quest was in the bar and because I had died charles came to my rescue when i spawned following me and killing anyone who gives me aggro (real funny)...cant do any other quests when I have him as a companion. Had to reload a save.
