the most underrated game in human history

The box art assumes that people know what Drawn to Life is?
>>
>>746016160
Drawn to Life was actually kinda big around the time it first came out. Even if you didn't play it most people had heard about it because people wouldn't shut up about the thesaurus game.

Is it good? Never paid much attention to it because I thought it's one of those gimmick premise games that gets old quickly.
>>
>>746017167
Pretty much all of 5th Cell's games rely heavily on your ability to entertain yourself with whatever gimmicks they put in. I wouldn't necessarily say they're good or bad but the appeal was never great gameplay.

Are you OP? Tell us what's so great about Lock's Quest at least then.

Not even the most underrated game on the DS
>>
>>746015960
The Ys games based on the VI engine (so VI itself and especially Origin and Oath in Felghana) are some of the most underrated action-based JRPGs ever. Even here you rarely see people bring them up outside of the occasional dedicated Ys thread.

og xbox had so many games like this. it's hard to call it the best system of the generation because of ps2's massive as fuck library but it was definitely the coolest in terms of the unique games they put out
>>
>>746019157
nta but they were obvious stand-ins with the names changed. it was still back in the day when graphics were shitty enough that you weren't going to win a lawsuit, but it was obvious who everyone was supposed to be.

6th console gen really is the last gen with any creativity or flair
>>
>>746021149
Literally the best gen. Dozens of amazing games from different genres across several platforms.

I actually remember seeing ads for it in Nintendo Power. The idea of making your own hero appealed to my 7 year old mind and I begged my parents for the game. Now I own the entire series, including the Wii game I missed out on for whatever reason, and that shitty revival that nobody talks about.

which is what they based scribblenauts on then?

I remember asking for draw to life as a kid. And my mum got me this instead because of the box art.
I was too stupid to play Lock's Quest.

Glad it got a steam re-release a while back because this game was great. I remember being stuck on that one level where you have to defend someone from the enemies mostly by yourself with no towers when I was a kid.
