it's a race. the idea is to be the first team to beat it.but i've always thought this is a moronic thing to turn into an esport. not only is it a god fucking awful spectator experience, but we're talking about video games in 2026 here. even back in 2004 raids were getting released in broken states, and nothing has changed.
