When GTA III came out, my best friend described the game honestly: a virtual city where you go in missions committing crimes, stealing cars, and murdering people. He said you can just walk up to any car in the street, pull the driver out, kill him, and take his car. He said you get into police chases and shootouts with the cops.It all sounded made up to me. And this was the dude in the friend group who was known to tell some exaggerated bullshit.
