Every time i try playing victoria 3 my faggot people wont work, ive checked everything, for example paper, i build the mills, ive got an educated population, ive got workers, ive got other buildings demanding paper, ive got the buildings the paper mills need, ive got wood supplies, they just wint hire anyone and the building just sits there while my faggot peasants work on subsistence farms, i even try go increase demand by exporting paper, making more buildings that need paper, anything, they just wont work, its every fucking building, steel, coal, explosives, fertilizer, ammunition and weapons, basic resources, furniture glass clothes you name it ive built it and they havent worked it, its driving me insane because i love the concept of managing an economy and if i could get it to work victoria would be my second favorite paradox game after crusader kings but the lazy cunts just wont do it, does anyone have any solutions or tips?
if you got it off steam, try using this tool on the workshop>automates all the usual loop>you can toggle it to minmax money or resources you specifically need>you can do shit like focus on waging war on africa without forgetting to make bigger farms or whateveri was so lost and up to my neck in guides and videos and vic3connor videos before i just used this tool and just automate most of it.What you wanna do is just play in belgium and turn on this tool. No doubt you will probably bankrupt yourself almost immediately, but thats sort of the learning curve in using the tool. Just keep fiddling with it and once you sort of understand with it does, restart the campaign again and play belgium and just sit there for a couple of years. Once you have boatloads of money and a cool army, take over the dutch and you can do colonization shit from their holdings
