Gen Alpha in my experience doesn’t like Star Wars period. My coworkers have tried showing them Star Wars (including the prequels and original) and they just do not care for it. I don’t know why, but it just holds absolutely no interest for them.

I remember I once joined a custom map that had a spawner for Darth Maul's speeder which for some reason had this insane AOE bomb it could drop that didn't damage the person riding it, and started doing drive bys with it. I guess the only mod around had limited power cause he could only "sleep" me, not kick me. But all that did was make my character look like he was lying down and clipping throigh the speeder and got rid of my hitbox. If I play a Star Wars game it's to explore and to inhabit the Star Wars universe and all of its atmosphere. The Jedi Knight series provide this experience in abundance. The Jedi series does have better gameplay, but the exploration, level design and atmosphere are very poor. Even Outlaws did it better. If it fails in the department of "Star Wars experience" then it fails - I can get the same gameplay but better playing Dark Souls.

This was not my experience with Fallen Order. I played on normal difficulty. Most regular enemies die in one or two hits. Most non-boss elite enemies die from a single combo once you've broken their guard, they are plausible duels. You attack, get blocked, block the enemy's attack, eventually parry and break their guard and it's over with a single combo. It was a year or two ago that I played it, but I distinctly remember feeling quite pleased with the fact that duels were over in a couple of hits and it was more about trying to actually land one. Boss fights are another thing entirely of course.
