Are old games really better than new games or do we have "old good new bad" mindset?
>>
I would say yes. Modern games are more convenient, but that alone doesn't make them better. For example, Pokemon Sword and Shield introduce being able to use the PC from anywhere and things like nature mints and exp candies to reduce grind. Sounds good, right? But then the rest of the game is shit in almost every way - with far worse map design and endgame content than what came before
>>
modern games are mostly streamlined soulless slop, everything plays and feels the same, it's sterile gaming that's not meant to breed innovation and experimentation

old good new bad mindset, uncs haven't kept up with pvp games and are left playing pve DEI slop
the cool kids are busy fighting each other, not looking for escapism in singleplayer fantasy worlds
>>
good games are good
bad games are bad
hope this helps
