It's kind of a brilliant scheme. He can potentially make way more money than he could via a ransom by milking the hundreds of millions of GTA fans out there who think they're "donating" to his righteous cause to get leaks of the game, over the next 2 months. Even after the netflix preview, people will still want more. Then crypto bros join in too to make money and raise it even more. Never seen anyone try this before.

Later he can say something like he'll release the PC build if his crypto market cap reaches $200 million or something and honestly it'd be worth it (if he wasnt lying), I'd invest in it if he did that.
