All I remember was using my starter Squirtile nearly all the battles. So it became a lv80 Blastoise and all my other pokemon was lower than lv30. It wasn't until during the Elite Four where I realized I was supposed to evenly train all of my pokemon. Though I still used my Blastoise unga bunga all of them.
