Same thing that happened with minecraft. Nobody expected minecraft to be sold to microsoft, but it did, because money will always be a bigger motivator as people want to move on with their lives and not be tied down. They dont want to go into work or give a shit about digital DRM games, they just want to be rich and stay at home. The next owner will sell it quicker than you can say chicken fried steak. It will go public after gabe goes that is for sure. and then microsoft, amazon or whoever can get a seat and make changes from the inside until they decide to buy it outright.I recall valve employees saying its a company that you dont stay/work at long term.
