Why don't you just hack it with Letterbomb and install usbloadergx, add a 2tb HDD and put all the games you want to play in the wbfs folder? I did this with a 2tb SD card and external HDD and have the entire Wii library at my disposal. No discs needed.

Obviously I think the freedom of normal third and first person shooters is generally better, but since I got more into arcade games I've come to appreciate rail shooters more. All of the House of the Dead games are pretty great, as is the Dead Space rail shooter. Also with 3D printing, you can make some fun wiimote holders. I want to print one that looks like an Uzi.

I didn't mind "kiddy games", but it felt like they were pushing out all the inferior half-baked shit or the multiplats that ran worse while Microsoft, Sony and PC were getting all the major worthwhile releases like Mass Effect, Dark Souls, Dead Rising, Batman, DOOM, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, etc. Even potentially good games like DKC Returns or Metroid Prime 3 were held back by irritating gimmicky crap.At least I got a lot of mileage out of the 3DS, but I'm fairly confident I never once saw a Wii U in person. Smash Ultimate is what convinced me to give the Switch a try and it's really good as a multiplayer machine.
